Casmik Studios – This Is Not Normal is a bold, Black-owned multimedia project led by actor and creator EuGene C. Banks. Blending film, animation, satire, music, and surreal storytelling, our work explores race, identity, justice, and imagination through a lens that’s as artistic as it is unfiltered.
Our flagship series, This Is Not Normal, is a variety media show that fuses sketches, monologues, short films, and experimental visuals to reflect the absurdity and truth of our world. Anchored by deep cultural roots and creative risk-taking, our goal is to tell stories that challenge the norm, uplift marginalized voices, and make audiences laugh, reflect, and feel.
Based in Pittsburgh, Casmik Studios creates and shares our work through digital platforms, live events, and collaborations with other independent artists. We’re building something bigger than a show — a movement for storytellers who don’t fit the mold.
