About

Donations are fully tax-deductible. You will receive a proof of donation/acknowledgment letter immediately upon making a donation.  (Project has fiscal sponsorship with Fractured Atlas.)

YOUR SUPPORT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO:

1. Help bring music and theatre programming behind the wall to students who are currently incarcerated in the Massachusetts Department of Corrections.

I am teaching music and theatre inside two MA state prisons. There is currently no other music or theatre education offered within the D.O.C.

Students have expressed their hunger and desire for MORE arts programming.

I am teaching on a volunteer basis, and do not have the capacity to expand without financial support. Your support will go DIRECTLY towards the implementation of music and theatre programming inside the MA Dept. of Corrections.

Arts programming enhances the quality of life for incarcerated students, several of whom are serving natural life sentences.

Thank you for helping us spread joy throughout some of the darkest corners of the system. My students thank you.

2. TAP FOR JOY!

Tap for Joy is a donation-based, outdoor tap dance program for students of all ages and skill levels. Based on my personal philosophy that it's impossible to be unhappy when you tap! It was started during COVID as an antidote to depression, isolation, and alienation. We took a three year hiatus. Now, given the imminent doom of our collapsing democracy, Tap for Joy is back. Let's rebel by cultivating joy despite the surrounding despair.

Individual tap boards + tap shoes provided!

My project, Chaos Theory, uses the arts to connect community members who have been impacted by the cycle of violence with stakeholders, policy makers, and the public. We believe the arts are uniquely positioned to shift hearts and minds, dismantle stigma, and inspire vital public dialogue--led by the true experts: those who have lived it.

I produced the documentary film:

HEAR ME features seven young people from Berkshire County who have been impacted by gun violence. We explore root causes, stories of impact, and a way forward, through the voices of experts: those who have lived it.
