I'm piloting an event series called "ChiBrations Presents: THE PORTAL". This event brings together colorful creatives, organizers, and mobilizers on both ground and underground levels to discuss the power of community-led media initiatives in Chicago. In the next two years, ChiBrations will establish ourselves as a robust, artist-led media platform that enriches and empowers creatives through research/databasing, storytelling via various media channels, and artist-led curation. Our goal is not necessarily to create new media, but to be the network that houses and amplifies the storytelling that exists today and in the future.
