The mission of Chicago Metamorphosis Orchestra Project (ChiMOP) is to empower youth through access to intensive and creative music opportunities on Chicago’s west side. We provide free arts education programs combining music lessons, ensemble instruction, performance, human values, and youth leadership as an intrinsic aspect of programming. Our programs are educationally and artistically rigorous, engage students in the creative process, and assess student learning in the arts.
