About

Welcome!
I compose music that draws equally from my experience in the worlds of contemporary classical, drum & bugle corps, and electronic music. I work with music technology but always with an eye toward live performance, telling stories, and describing potent emotional states.

Upcoming:
Join me at Carnegie Hall March 26th, 2024 for the world premiere of my new work Hanabi for Sinfonietta, performed by Alarm Will Sound as part of a program curated by the 2024 Debs Composer's Chair Tania Leon.

Record Release
I will release my 5th solo record Stay the Same in 2024. A new LP of electronic music, it is an integrated set of 10 highly personal works exploring our society's confusing and commodified modern self-help culture.

Recent:
In 2023, I was commissioned to create a new work for percussion quartet and electronics, The Nature of the Lie, which was given its world premiere in September at the Stovehouse, Huntsville by the Rocket City New Music series.

Kyle Ritenauer, Wesley Sumpter, Daisy Press, Clara Warnaar, Sean Ritenauer premiere "The Nature of the Lie" at Stovehouse.

Thank you so much for visiting me here at Fractured Atlas -- I traditionally fund my solo projects through a combination of donor support and my freelance work as a performing percussionist. Your generous support is more important than ever to me for keeping these exciting projects happening.
