CLIFTON PARK is a short film that seeks to challenge the narrative of what horror films can be about, what the monster/hero looks like, and who the film is for.
When Mari, an eager to please college student, travels upstate with her theater idols, The Ambassadors, for a weekend “method acting” retreat to develop their latest play about a real-life sex trafficking cult, things quickly spiral out of control and the line between fiction and reality becomes blurred in a deadly way.
It’s a story about theater, cults, and gaslighting, but ultimately it’s a story about resilience.
