Brought to you by Boy King Theatre Collective, Clown Car Valet is a transportation activation made to bring more experimental joy and whimsy to the streets. Unlike other experiences, we are not performers, we are the future of event transportation. Clown Car Valet is a skilled group of drivers that intend to unforgettably deliver your audiences, from parking garage to performance. If these audiences are to have an exceptional experience at your event, they deserve unforgettable transportation too. While our golf carts are operated by clowns, our GOLD STANDARD SERVICE is meant to deliver you safely and securely. Our GOLD-STANDARD SERVICE includes things like: themed rides with props and games, VIP escorts in record time (whilst never speeding), and even possible hiring opportunities. In addition to transportation, we can also help your guests find a spot in a packed parking garage and navigate those pesky parking meters. We will even go as far as taking our guests on a picturesque ride through the Parisian Countryside or a daring adventure between two dueling pirate cars. Your guests safety is never a concern but their satisfaction is guaranteed. By activating community spaces, we encourage people to look up and look around. Look to the people next to you and ask "did you just see what I just saw?" or finally talk to that really hot person that takes the same commute as you do. Whether planned or unprompted, Clown Car Valet is an ongoing service to our community and a promise to be unforgettable and absolutely tech free (except for the electric golf carts, we need those...).
Clown Car Valet is currently in early development and has done one playtest with another in planning. We are working closely with the La Jolla Playhouse's WOW Team to discover more ways and resources to develop this work. We hope to continue presenting this work at local and national events and festivals as a hybrid service and performance. We aim to finish development within the next six months and collect enough funds to be able to tour schools and underfunded communities. Our first playtest was incredibly successful and took place on and around the UC San Diego campus where we gave rides to students and staff of the school. We even had a reddit thread written about us!: https://www.reddit.com/r/UCSD/comments/1wsthqv/did_anyone_see_the_the_clowns_on_the_golf_cart_on/?solution=df7ec4d1429e139bdf7ec4d1429e139b&js_challenge=1&jsc_token=2824be10929bdc604753c70a67a1c3313478dd35acadf44f6041
