Color and Light Community Choir

Based in Hillsborough, NC, CLCC is a community choir dedicated to bringing people of diverse musical and social backgrounds together through music and community service.  Our initial goal is to create a choral ensemble that reflects the demographics of the region, and will then bring a more diverse audience to public performances. Beyond that, there is a community service mission to the group which will be developed more specifically as it grows. 

Start up costs for this project include paying an accompanist, purchasing music, marketing, web site hosting, and administrative costs. The current budget minimum to start up this first year is around $10,000.  Once established, there are numerous directions for growth which will be illuminated as they become a priority.  In the meantime, any amount you may wish to donate will help establish a new voice to bring people together through music in central NC.
