Started in 2017, Communitea Chamber Music presents monthly classical chamber music concerts in a delightfully-retro coffee shop in Long Island City. A favorite local spot, Communitea was voted Timeout New York's Most-Loved Coffee Shop in Queens from 2016-2018! Local musicians come together to discover and perform baroque, classical, and romantic music on period instruments curated around a theme. Enjoy the music the way it was experienced when it was written; with great food, delicious desserts, local beers, wine, or a cup of tea. All concerts are free, accessable, and family friendly.
