Cool at Camp Musical

This project aims to develop and present Cool at Camp, an original musical comedy that explores the intensity and humor of coming of age through the lens of the Jewish summer camp culture. We will be having performances as part of the Midtown  International Theatre Festival.  Though this staged festival production, we intend to refine the piece in front of a live audience while building momentum towards a future full scale production. Ultimately the goal is to create a widely relatable, commercially viable musical that relates with both young adult and adult audiences.
We are asking for your help.  To present just these three performances in NY will cost us between $35,000 - $40,000.  These funds will be used to pay for: actors, a director, a musical director, musicians, a choreographer, a lighting designer, sound equipment, sound technician, rehearsal space, theatre rental, transportation for actors, set, props, costumes, scripts, publiclicity, and more.   We can't thank you for enough for your contriubution.
