La Rosario Proyectos is an organization led by multidisciplinary artist, Awilda Rodríguez Lora located in Santurce, P.R. Although it was officially founded in 2020, thanks to the support of the Southern Power Fund, it operated for the last seven years from Rodríguez Lora’s home serving as a meeting point for the Santurce community, an incubator for artistic projects, experimental laboratory, exhibition space, and solidarity space for a growing community of local and international artists. La Rosario Proyectos welcomes artists and initiatives that focus on corporeal practices such as guided meditations, voice lessons, dance workshops, and artistic residencies for performers. In 2022, La Rosario received funds from the Puerto Rican Arts Initiative to organize concerts, plays, workshops, performances, exhibitions, and festivals in collaboration with artists such as Eduardo Alegría, Magali Carrasquillo, Lionel Villahermosa, Pó Rodill, nibia pastrana, among others. These opportunities have allowed La Rosario to reaffirm its commitment to live art projects in Puerto Rico.
