I have spent most of my creative life following ideas wherever they lead. Sometimes that becomes a painting. Other times it becomes a film, a publication, a performance, or a collaboration with other artists.
Cordell Cordaro Creative Projects was created to help make the larger ideas possible.
My role is often to develop the original concept, shape the creative direction, and bring together the right people to make it real. That may include dancers, choreographers, filmmakers, editors, musicians, designers, performers, and other creative professionals.
The current project is a short dance film inspired by the Last Supper. Featuring 13 performers, primarily women, the piece will tell the story entirely through contemporary movement, music, gesture, tension, and physical relationships rather than spoken dialogue.
Future projects may include independent films, documentary and experimental work, dance and performance, visual art projects, and publications.
