The Farm & Art Tour goals are multi fold:
To connect people to small farms through the arts - both fine craft and performance arts with a goal to provide a multi cultural experience through a broad range of performance types and origins.
Provide expanded opportunities for performers and artisans in a new venue.
Support small farms through the opportunity: drive revenue essential to small farm survival, while recontextualizing farms as arts and culture hubs reinforcing the value of rural heritage to communities and introducing new audiences to these spaces.
On a personal note: the most meaningful experiences in my life have engaged the arts, music, and food. These are the great and universal connectors of people regardless of language, age, race, class, or education.
