D.A.R.E – Does Art Reside Everywhere? is a 15-foot illuminated syringe sculpture being built for Burning Man 2026. Created as a tribute to the artist’s brother, lost to a heroin overdose, the piece transforms the pain of addiction into large-scale, confrontational public art. By night, LED lighting brings the sculpture to life in the desert. A 2026 Burning Man Honoraria recipient, D.A.R.E asks: can art be found in everything, even in the darkest parts of our lives?
