Danielle Fodor is a visual artist whose work explores intersections between place, ecology, and culture. She works in a variety of mediums, including murals, giant puppets, and comics.
Danielle's work is most often community-based and free to the public. She works with people to create a vibrant street culture and spark public conversations.
Your financial support allows Danielle to continue working with people of all ages to tell visual stories about what matters -- creating images that raise our collective hopes, dreams, and visions for our neighborhoods, our cities, and our beloved planet Earth.
Your dollars help pay for materials -- paint, plywood, cloth, and brushes -- as well as Danielle's time to plan, grant-write, and create projects in her home studio.
Danielle’s specialty is working with communities to tell their stories with pictures, and sharing painterly skills to create monuments to each community’s history, values, and vision. She has worked as a professional artist for over 15 years, and holds advanced degrees in Plant Biology and Community Development.
