Darvejon Jones Dance Ensemble is an organization with aspirations of establishing themselves as a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to celebrate the cultural diversity that connects us all through refined, challenging, exciting and interdisciplinary dance works from a multitude of perspectives. Allegorically, dance can be a means by which our histories, inquiry, and imagery can exist within. DJDE endeavors to call-in our audiences to show the beauty and perils of our world. Darvejon’s work requires an audience that is willing to engage themselves regarding implicit biases and challenge their personal aesthetics.
