Over the years I've worked with several galleries, including currently with George Billis Gallery (Georgebillis.com) and in 2025 the Triton Museum of Art (tritonmuseum.org) of Santa Clara, CA, hosted my solo exhibition Urban Visions: Life in Motion. This exhibition featured many Cityscape and Figurative subjects of San Francisco and beyond. For the last 30 years I have also worked with primarily-portraits.com of Philadelphia, PA and Portland, OR. Dean is a mid career artist that paints a wide variety of subjects in a painterly contemporary realistic style.
In 2019 I was awarded the commission to paint the portrait of the late Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska for the Senate Portrait Collection. Senator Stevens served as President pro tempore of the United States Senate from 2003 to 2007. This portrait now hands in the United States Capitol in Washington, DC. In addition my other portraits hang at Willamette University of Salem, OR, Portland State University, Portland, OR, the Alaska State Capitol, Juneau, AK, Thomas Jefferson University of Philadelphia, PA among many others.
