Defiant: The Women Who Redefined Art

Rashomon Media will be producing a feature documentary about accomplished women artists whose careers started in the 1970s. The focus of the program will be the watershed moment in history as women’s art paralleled the advent of the women's liberation movement. This will be a program about the freedom, confidence and support women found to develop their own expression, their own voices.
