Drag Virus: Ritual Worlds of Healing, Resistance, and Glamour transforms a domestic living room into an immersive environment overtaken by drag materiality: sequins, synthetic hair, stockings, jewels, projection, sound, and performance. The project turns anti-drag rhetoric about queerness as “contagion” back onto itself, imagining queer visibility as a force of healing, resistance, glamour, and liberation. It asks what becomes possible when queerness begins inside the family, the first institution where gender, shame, power, memory, and belonging are taught.
