I will be raising money to fund a one week artist retreat in October 0f 2022, with 5 selected artists of various disciplines. This inaugural program will serve as the prototype and research to turn this into an annual program. In addition to the individual projects the selected artists contribute, the forged and ongoing connections between this creative cohort will form a network of like-minded individuals who will be encouraged to collaborate on projects down the line. For my part, I will contribute research and writing on developing the retreat model, and piloting an 'artist vacation fund' to support this needed creative time away from day-to-day projects.
