What began as the occasional collaboration of a few close friends who all felt a common bond in their love for chamber music has evolved into a dynamic ensemble that explores the unlimited diversity that exists in the chamber music repertoire. Over the course of the last sixteen years Elysian Camerata has established itself as a respected member of the Philadelphia chamber music community. Their audiences have joined them on a journey of musical discovery that has taken them to countless times and places in music history. The Elysians seek to infuse every performance with the intense dedication and passion they feel for the music they play. Their primary goals are to be true to the composer’s musical intent and to realize it in such a way that it communicates as directly as possible with their audiences.
