Embracing Arlington Arts

Embracing Arlington Arts is a non-profit organization comprised of Arlington arts supporters whose mission is to enhance the vibrancy and health of arts and culture in Arlington County. We do this through informing others about the importance and diversity of the arts, artists and arts organizations in our community; celebrating the critical contributions the arts make to all sectors of our County; spearheading initiatives that maintain and grow the County’s cultural identity; and spreading the word about the diverse performance and cultural events held in Arlington.

Since its founding in 2017, Embracing Arlington Arts has been a stalwart defender, voice and advocate for the arts through an active marketing of events and productions, a weekly podcast and special topical podcast series, media outreach, monthly Updates to arts supporters and patrons, organizing grassroots campaigns to help the arts industry, organizing networking and workshop events and much more. More details can be found in our 2020 Annual Report of Successes. Our work became even more critical in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdown of the entire arts industry.
