Elijah Palles (Eddie Broadway) is a dynamic, award-winning performer, named Mr. Trans USA 2020 among other honors. He is an amazing humanitarian who works with gender fluid youth. And a year and a half ago, he was diagnosed with HIV. Eddie BroadwayThis diagnosis could have stopped him. Instead, Elijah jumped into action and has become a beacon of light, using his platform and powerful voice to help promote HIV awareness. This film will document this story about this trans man living with HIV and how he uses his powerful voice. It will tell a story that needs to be told, shining a spotlight on a man making a difference. Produced by the creative team of Charles Sanchez and Tyne Firmin alongside the imaginative filmmaker Linus Ignatius (MASS, Marque and Hector Turn Trash into Treasure) as Director of Photography. Emperor 13 will showcase Elijah’s guts, passion, vulnerability, and ultimately, his strength.
