Empyrean is a live production that will tell the story of a relentless Father who would go to any lengths to get his family back. The heart of Empyrean is to bring hope and healing to the hearts of those who have grown up without a father, to help them find their identity and show them what unconditional Love looks like. We live in a fatherless society and the effects can clearly be seen all around us.. One in four children will grow up in a home without a father figure in their lives. These children are at a much greater risk for abuse and neglect, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, crime and incarceration. Not to mention the identity issues that arise from a lack of a strong male figure including overall passivity, mental illness such as depression, anxiety, suicide and more.
With Empyrean we will expose people to the truth that they are loved no matter what they have experienced in their lives that taught them differently. It is loosely based on the story of Creation so all audiences will be familiar with the storyline without words needing to be used. The show begins before the dawn of time and follows the journey of Man throughout human history as a loving father gives all he has to shelter, protect and ultimately reconnect with his lost children.
Empyrean will be fully interactive – engaging as many of the senses as possible (sight, smell, touch, etc.), and incorporate multiple forms of storytelling such as acrobatics, aerial elements, dance, music, holographics and much more. The show is a total original and unlike anything we have seen thus far, but can most easily be compared to a Cirque du Soleil type of show. Because of the interactive nature of the show, we believe people will walk away transformed… not just seeing another show. It has been proven that we engage with and experience change in our emotions through our senses so audience members will be changed.
We are in the storyboarding phase of the project and are actively recruiting the talent we need to fully develop the story into a live experience. The goal is to launch the show in 2022 and we need help to get there! A secondary goal of our project is to hire and help artists who have either experienced abuse and/or trauma and have stepped away from their first love... or those who simply have never had the training necessary to pursue their passion. In this way, we will not only be producing our own show, but creating exponential growth in the artistic community to make way for other artists in all fields to take their place and create!
If you feel led to support Empyrean, you can give a one-time donation or a fixed amount on a monthly basis. We appreciate any and all gifts and no gift is too small. We hope you will be a part of this project with us and help us change lives and bring hope to people who desperately need it.
Thank you!
