Ensemble Dance is a group of artists from a variety of disciplines, including dance, theater, music, visual arts and design, who all seek to create new work in a collaborative fashion under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director, Pilar Castro Kiltz, and to explore the intersection of all these art forms. With the aim of facilitating the creation of innovative work by current artists from a variety of fields, Ensemble Dance creates a community of artists, art lovers and art explorers. Whether you are watching dance theater for the first time, or have been experiencing it for years, Ensemble Dance wants to create work that is accessible to a broad audience, exploring the narrative possibilities of all the art forms, and also testing how they can interact with one another in order to resonate with an audience.
