About

Gladis and her sisters will be a deep dive into our human relationship with nature, through the lens of human interaction with the Orca species and their interactions with us. It opens much larger questions of personhood, sentience and how we will all survive or not on this planet. The work brings awareness and attention to the environment at a critical time, with protections legally being rolled back. The project will serve to raise continued research funding for the Orca protection under the work of Dr. Deborah Giles in San Juan Island, WA USA and will support organizations working to protect these endangered species.
