I host a live music show on the web that's an incredibly interactive musical experience. 
 
 Unlike a traditional concert where the audience watches passively, our viewers actually get to help shape the music that's created even if they have no musical background. It's an amazing opportunity for people to share their creativity and become a part of the creative process. 
 
Since fall of 2016, I've performed over 500 live shows on the web, on which we've created over 3400 songs, incorporating over 75,000 requests from thousands of viewers. And our viewers have suggested almost 170,000 different song titles!
 
 Before each song, our viewers use the live chatroom to request the sounds I will use and the speed and starting key of the music, and their usernames are transformed into drum patterns using software I wrote. Then, using these raw musical materials I improvise a song live, using keyboards, voice, and a variety of other instruments (trombone, flute, melodica, trumpet, etc...). 
 
 As the musical improvisation is happening, viewers suggest titles, and afterwards vote on their favorite to permanently remember the improvisation by. 
 
 Viewers also get to help write the script for our the custom software bot for our channel, ToBeOrNotToBot (AKA Tooby), and have given it 1000s of unique messages to say.
 
Putting on a show like this is a major endeavor. Between the rent for a soundproof studio space and maintaining all the gear required to handle a multi-camera interactive show using multiple computers, my broadcast budget is significant.
 
 I’ve been amazed how quickly our viewers have started supporting the show with donations, but it isn’t enough yet to break even. So your support is absolutely critical to allowing me to continue producing the show and expand what we’re doing on it. 
 
 What we’ve done so far is only the beginning. I have many ideas I’m excited to launch in the coming year, from new ways to make the show more interactive, to regularly featuring other musicians in the improvisations, and showcasing other bands as well.
