ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Twelfth Night (Or What You Will) is the last of Shakespeare’s warm comedies, and perhaps the darkest. The shipwrecked Viola dresses herself as a page boy to serve the Duke Orsino, who is in love with a grieving Olivia. When Olivia mistakes Viola for a man and falls in love with him, the disguise seems to have gone too far. Set on the Twelfth Day of Christmas this feast of epiphanies explores gender identity, the nature of desire, and asks, in a time of indulgence, “How much is too much?” Co-Directed by Mac Welch & Sara Romersberger with original music by Ivan Dillard.
