Fair Playhouse NYC

Fair Playhouse was created out of a shared value in community and connection through a passion for performing arts. We are proud to continue to grow creative and collaborative ensembles of young artists in the making! We are craft based and community focused.

An NYC-based theater training program for elementary through high school age students, Fair Playhouse has 12-week Fall and Summer sessions – Summer sessions coming soon! Curriculum includes Acting, Voice, Movement, Improv, Sketch, Playwriting and Monologue, however we value teaching collaboration, empathy, critical thinking and self-advocacy as much as we do performance technique. We are committed to cooperative learning and creating an inclusive space for all students, including students with disabilities and different learning styles.

Our teachers are experienced theater educators working professionally in their fields with a range of experiences to share with students. Curricula is custom designed to ensure all learning types and needs are integrated into each class. Students who are exploring performing arts for the first time team up with experienced young performers and learn to support each other as fellow artists and as humans.

OUR GOAL is for our students to leave Fair Playhouse with performance skills, strengthened social capabilities and a passion for building community with other artists.
