Far Rockaway Theater Workshop intends to deliver free theater, film, music production, and dance programming to youth and adults in Far Rockaway, Queens, pairing every creative program with a stipend so participation is never a financial burden. The project also addresses food insecurity, academic support, and financial literacy as core conditions for youth success. Ultimately, FRTW aims to build a sustainable, community-owned arts pipeline that interrupts cycles of poverty and incarceration in one of NYC's most under-resourced neighborhoods.
