Femme Frequencies

In honor of 2019 International Women’s Day, Femme Frequencies celebrates spontaneous creation, experimental expression, and music for inner and outer harmony. Created by the exemplary hands and voices of those underrepresented in their soundmaking fields, the music festival will take place throughout spaces in Artshare LA, concurrent with the gallery opening of “Female Gaze”. United around #balanceforbetter, Femme Frequencies is a musical environment that is safe, empowering, accepting, and nurturing----where having a thick skin isn’t necessary, and all sounds and emotions are welcome. Join us on March 8th as we recalibrate a lack of equal representation in our musical spheres by giving womxn performers the opportunity to powerfully reclaim their space.
