About

The Filinta Methodology is a new way of organizing cultural production: a collective framework that brings together communities, designers, makers, brands, institutions, and funding actors so each can contribute where they are strongest. Built for post-crisis and culturally vulnerable contexts, The Filinta methodology connects endangered cultural knowledge /collective memory for responsible material systems, contemporary designers&artists, women-led cooperations for collective production, artisans for skills transfer/education, local and global brands and institutions & multilateral fundings within one shared structure. Its goal is to preserve and transfer cultural knowledge while creating new social and economic value, sustainable livelihoods, and resilient local production ecosystems. Already tested and measured through post-crisis work in Türkiye, the methodology is now being adapted for communities in the United States, with AI introduced as a supporting layer to strengthen archiving, mapping, coordination, decision-making, and access to opportunity without replacing human creativity or traditional knowledge.
