Multi-ethnic student who attend an inflexible Japanese immersion school doing their best not to get expelled will do anything to beat their Kpop dance team rivals while untangling who they really are inside. The story follows four teen girls from different ethnic backgrounds but born in Japan, through breakups, big zits and other high school drama yet it is really a story about cultivating a community of acceptance, and overcoming biases based on how someone looks. Lastly, showing how anyone is good enough no matter the background.
