Rosette, a Richmond-based string quartet, will perform the music of Anna Clyne SIX times in SIX different venues during the month of March! Because many of the performances are free and open to the public, your donation to this campaign is what makes this series possible.

The idea
The So Hot Right Now series brings the music of one very hot, very alive composer to Richmond audiences by performing their work multiple times, and in a variety of venues, over the course of one month.

- hear a live performance of brand new music more than once,
- experience it in an environment where they feel comfortable,
- and at a price they can afford.
Rosette's March performances will take place in a church parish hall, two art galleries, a living room, a recording studio, and a wine bar. Three out of the six performances are free and open to the public.
About Anna Clyne
Rosette’s seventh So Hot Right Now series features the music of English-American composer Anna Clyne. Described as a “composer of uncommon gifts and unusual methods” by the New York Times and as “fearless” by NPR, she is one of the most in demand composers today, working with orchestras, choreographers, filmmakers, and visual artists around the world.
Rosette will perform two works by Anna Clyne in March: Woman Holding a Balance (2020) and Breathing Statues (2020).
