Since founding my production company in 2006, I've been relentlessly committed to developing work. I make art to touch the hearts of people I know and love – so when you are able to attend, your presence makes it all worth it.
2025 has been artistically thrilling, I got the chance to:
Perform consistently with my band, and doing standup comedy,
Complete my full-length play"Green Apple Taxi" mentored by Lucy Thurber,
Collaborate with Zainab Jah as a director for my play"Out of the Box," and
Act in the readings of two plays I hope to produce, alongside trusted colleagues.
The time I’m able to devote to this work is my success. It takes determination and discipline—sometimes even a bit of obstinance—especially when I don’t know how to get to the next step.
Ongoing expenses include: rental space, musician fees, sheet-music software and arrangements, graphic design, social-media marketing, vocal coaching, professional memberships, comedy workshops, theater mentorship, website design and fees, editing apps, software, etc... and living in New York City: expensive but priceless!
After graduating from the Atlantic Acting School, I was considered to serve as the artistic director of a French theater company established for twenty five years in Atlanta. This process was a great source of inspiration, igniting my desire to have more agency with creating theater.
2026, here are my hopes and wishes for you:
A - Becoming someone who can help produce the run of a play every year – a theater collective amplifying French voices and historical figures.
B - I am a member of the PlayPenn Playwriting Cohort 2025/26. From the footage of my interviews of elders from my region, I want to write the draft of a new play,
C - For the last decade, I've been a vocalist performing live, and I haven't put out music yet. It's about time I record a couple of songs, maybe even three.
I moved to New York at age 17, graduating from Merce Cunningham Studio and Upright Citizens' Brigade. It has been an tumultuous journey of discoveries, recognizing what I do have to offer, and I want to invite you on my path:
With your support, I want to continue serving our community with the words, music, and stories that move us.
