The film takes the audience on this Undoubtedly Spectacularly Mythical Journey about the most creative, connected, yet unheard fandom ever lived. From visiting Rhett and Link's (founders of this fandom) hometown to attending the first Mythical convention, listening to stories shared by the fans young and old (including Rhett and Link), to watching showstopping numbers inspired by and created to the music of Rhett and Link...this creatively enlightening film will bring joy and inspiration to "be their mythical best".
This film has been a journey within a journey for me (as the Producer and Co-director) ever since I started working on it in 2020. It has grown and still is growing that I could possibly imagine. What once was a one-person crew now has a team of amazing creatives from all over the world collaborating with me on this soon-to-be masterpiece. "For the Kommunity" gives a voice for this unique fanbase plus showcases how two legendary "internetainers" who are best friends made a huge impact to the World and their fans. Most importantly, the audience will learn and be inspired by the mythical beasts on how we can understand and appreciate one another, love ourselves, and unleash our inner artist/creator.
Our goal is to finish strong before 2025 is over, so we can FINALLY premiere it in film festivals and Youtube in 2026. We need your help to finish the documentary! All donations received from now to December will cover Post-Production, Promotion, Maintenance Fees, and Applications for Film Festivals in 2026.
