This documentary investigates the 1985 death of Timothy Charles Lee—a Black gay student found hanged at a BART station- to expose how transit racism endangers marginalized riders and undermines climate justice. Through archival research, community testimony, and verité footage, the film connects this unsolved case to present-day transit inequities, arguing that sustainability requires racial justice. By amplifying this overlooked history, the project aims to mobilize policymakers and activists to create safer, more equitable public transportation systems.
