"For Years to Come" is a romantic dramedy about a gay man who falls in love with his dead mother's hospice nurse, while struggling to reconcile with his elderly father, who harbors an outrageous secret. The series explores the unpredictability of grief, and the fragile dynamics of love and family, in a hilarious and heartfelt story about people striving to live a meaningful life.
We're passionate about making art with LGBTQ+ leads, in which their queerness is not the conflict. The protagonists in "For Years to Come" are not tokens or stereotypes, but richly-drawn, multi-dimensional human beings.
As our country grows more divided, a vital remedy is to highlight all we have in common. The best way to diminish anti-queer sentiment is to make queer people as visible as possible, and to tell stories in which they confront universal experiences. We hope this story will be enriching for all audiences, as we strive toward a more harmonious and equitable society.

In the wake of the pandemic, so many people are struggling to grieve a loved one they lost sooner than expected. And so many people are grasping for some kind of beauty on the other side of that grief, as they rewrite the story of their own lives, and dare to imagine the happiness that could still be ahead of them. This is at the heart of "For Years to Come," and it really heightened our urgency to tell this story right now.
