Forza Dance

Forza Dance creates empowering opportunities to research and share our collective purpose as artists through our two facets: Community and Company. With free or low cost programming, Forza Community aims to support the artist’s journey, build a dialogue on the “now” and the “next” for the dance industry, and facilitate exchange of these ideas to all ages and experience levels. Forza Company is a performance-based collective that puts these Community findings to motion. The company intends to inspire a more empathetic society by sharing work with the public. In all events, Forza Dance cultivates a sustainable learning environment that uses feedback to ignite change in both the self and the dance industry.

Forza Dance aims to build a community of artists passionate about creating a more innovative, transparent and equitable future. Our community understands the weight artists hold in driving cultural change and works to listen, shape, and share all voices. Forza Dance supports artists through constant changes within the industry with the proper resources and guidance. It strives to bridge the gap between different age and experience levels. Both facets of the organization evolve as the dance industry changes. We aim to inspire, to actively research, and to welcome all people and ideas… all to develop a more compassionate world!

Forza Dance aims to achieve our goals through multi-faceted, community based programming including, workshops, performances, events, and outreach. Within our programming we uphold these values:
Empathy: We prioritize empathy. For us, this begins with a mutual understanding and love for all members of our community and beyond. 

Development - We implement a wholesome approach to learning that provides space for the development of each individual voice. We foster physical growth through our versatile class offerings and artistic understanding through our mindful seminars.

Transparency: We aim to create an honest and communicative

environment - no matter your role within our organization - in efforts to dismantle institutional hierarchy.

Autonomy: We trust the competence and independence of each individual in the space. We value the contrasting needs of our community and craft our spaces to truly see each individual. 

Accessibility: We believe each and every artist should have access to the tools they need to thrive. We offer scholarships, sliding scale and donation-based events, and virtual opportunities to connect with our community.
