Led by choreographer Laila J. Franklin, she is interested in collaboratively creating experiences that spark reflection and connection, and remind us of our shared humanity. She uses meta-commentary, deconstruction, and bits to approach themes of human experiences with nuance, curiosity, physical rigor, and humor to extend lineages of traditional and experimental queer Black dance makers.
