Full Reed intends to produce a feature film on location in Advance, North Carolina that tells an honest story about working-class family life, grief, and the child welfare system. The project will pursue festival distribution and streaming acquisition to reach the widest possible audience, while developing a community screening program that brings the film directly to foster care organizations and rural communities. The broader intention is to prove that stories from small towns in the American South deserve the same attention and resources as stories from anywhere else.
