This quirky comedy, about an untethered comedienne who bumbles through a frustrating day to try and cope with the loss of her mother, is a story I know all too well as it was inspired by the passing away of my mother. She loved comedy, especially fart jokes, so much she could never get to the punch line.
In writing this and putting my soul on the screen, I’ve been able to discover that one can make amends with loved ones even after they've passed away.
As a team of emerging artists led by women, funded on our own, telling the tale of a woman finding her way through grief unconventionally to say the least, we hope to move you and challenge perspectives.
We are looking for funds to support the submission fees for our film festival run, our week long screening at the Laemlee to get an Oscar nomination, and to complete payment for invoices to our editor, colorist, sound designer, film composer and artwork specialist from post production.
Thank you for considering donating to our project. We truly appreciate it.
