"Bounded by Intervals" is a shared physical theatre work exploring human grief, regret, finality and how that weight directly affects the process of maneuvering daily life. Further questioning, if the temptation to achieve closure & have your wishes granted, would you take it? Act 1 & Act 2 battles with their own mental & emotional demons in alternate realities that prompt the audience to see, feel, and question reality. We are crafting a work that feels authentic & exciting for us by bringing in community from different backgrounds, using narrative story telling & momentum base movement to drive the story.
In our creative processes, we work in conjunction with artists to shine light & bring opportunity to emerging artists in fields in and outside of dance. As this is our very FIRST self-production together, we have made the decision to incorporate collaboration in all aspects of the way! The production of this work will consist of collaborating with and hiring all local LA creatives. Alongside the choreographic team, there will be 3 dance artists, 1 stage manager, 1 costume designer, 1 composer, and 1 videographer. We believe in that creative artists HAVE to be compensated accordingly. Please help us achieve that goal!
PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO OUR FIRST PROJECT! All the proceeds from your donations go directly back to the artists & collaboratives below. They bring so much humanity and joy to the work. This vision would not have been possible without the talents, investment, & dedication of this creative team.
Did we mention it's tax deductible? (;
