Healing from Isolation exists to directly and aggressively address the multitude of issues contributing to the public health crisis and global epidemic defined as “isolation”. “HFI” is a mission-driven movement designed to combat social isolation, loneliness, and emotional disconnection by creating accessible pathways to human connection through dancing, public speaking, and shared experiences.
The values of Healing from Isolation consist of open communication, vulnerability, empathy, bravery, willingness. movement therapy, intentionality, positivity, and a genuine love for people. We seek to convert isolation into connection through Dance. We are putting stock in Dance and in particular our version of a freestyle Dance format that brings people together out of isolation very well. We feel it is a virtual guarantee guests will feel more connection to one an another after our events than they did before them.
Prior to dancing together, we will give isolated individuals a voice and an audience to hear their voice. In order to create the mood and energy necessary to cater to all walks of life in one space a core culture will be an open mic forum or format. Emotional intelligence will by relied upon in this case as opposed to modern artificial intelligence.
Lead facilitator, Keith Balan will be the introductory speaker yet encourage the audience to join him in expressing themselves not only on the subject of isolation, but on the subject of growing Healing from Isolation to its maximum point of impact.
Our preferred form of presentation is to visit in person to demonstrate our exact model by providing the experience. Realizing this may be unconventional we feel this is the very best way to translate exactly what it is we are planning to implement. Otherwise, we will create an event to be professionally filmed and shared with you and/or your team.
The future vision consists of creating events for people to choose from in order to address their own issues of isolation and their desires to assist others with their isolation issues. Once this culture is adopted it becomes popular and even viral. A successful brand is born upon a full-scale philanthropic humanitarian effort. People all over the area, the state, the country, and eventually the world recognize the contribution of HFI as a model business which is repeatable.
