'Poshteh Darhayeh Basteh: Hearts of Fire' is a sixty-minute contemporary dance performance exploring resistance, survival, and the hidden experiences of women living under oppression. It tells the story of Iranian women and girls at the forefront of the fight for their basic rights, weaving their lived experiences with universal themes of love, identity, and defiance. Through the mediums of dance, music, and poetry this work aims to inspire hope for a future where women can live freely, safely, and authentically, where their voices are amplified and their bodies are no longer controlled by systems of oppression.
