About

Hillsdale is a play about a group of disillusioned conservatives in rural Michigan. Michael and Bruno manage their former fraternity house at Hillsdale College and are visited by their wealthy former president Reese, his beautiful wife Marina, and his bashful sister Zoey. Michael, who once revered Reese as a student, bitterly resumes his years long love affair with Marina unaware he is the true father of her child. The arrival of Zoey disrupts the life of Bruno, whose love for each other has never been allowed to exist due to class circumstance. When Reese offers to sell the frat house, Michael, in a fit of rage attacks Reese. The wealthy characters leave promising to never return to Hillsdale. In the end, Michael and Bruno return to their stagnant lives, resigned with a new hope for better days.
