Homodoxy publishes works of gay/queer/trans theology and literature to preserve, produce, and proliferate queer religious life and thought. Homodoxy is a home for new and beautiful considerations of spirituality, sexuality, gender, and genre. Our Books Reprinted in Contemporary Context series (BRICC) makes older and out-of-print texts available to new readers. We publish new writing in all genres by people of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds. Queer spirituality is a revival and a circus, and Homodoxy pitches a big tent.

Publisher and editor in chief Samuel Ernest has a PhD from Yale University in religious studies. He has published in literary and academic venues and has been featured in Roxane Gay's Emerging Writer Series at The Audacity. He also has two years of experience as an assistant editor at The Yale Review. He is committed to giving writers equitable compensation for their work and spending considerable time with each manuscript to help writers produce the books they need to produce.
