Houston Repertory Dance Ensemble, under the direction of Amy Blake, Artistic Director, Keith Cross, Rehearsal Director, and Judith Grywalski, Ballet Mistress, is designed for the dancer seeking collaboration with exemplary worldwide professionals in the industry to help them obtain greater levels of achievement in the arts through classical training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary. The goal of Houston Repertory Dance Ensemble is to produce mature young dancers prepared for success in the career field of professional dance. The ensemble does this by providing intense instruction and professional choreography alongside outreach projects in the community. Young dancers are nurtured in order to gain the ethical and artistic qualities needed to meet the criteria of college and professional dance companies.
