"In Real Time" is a commissioning series from cellist Josh Halpern in which he spends a year inside a single composer's musical world. Together, they build a fully curated program from the inside out, with a brand-new work as its centerpiece and anchor: a musical self-portrait, presented live and preserved on record. First up: Scott Ordway's "Letters to My Daughters" and Henrique Eisenmann's "Cio da Terra."
