Jen P. Harris (she/they) is an artist working primarily with ink. She holds a BA in art from Yale and an MFA from Queens College of the City University of New York. Harris has shown her work widely and has presented solo exhibitions at at Edgar Gallery (Los Angeles, CA); Leslie-Lohman Museum and Daniel Cooney Fine Art (New York, NY); Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (Wilmington); Rockland Center for the Arts (West Nyack, NY); John Davis Gallery (Hudson, NY); and CSPS Hall (Cedar Rapids, IA). Harris is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Painting and grants from the Puffin Foundation, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, Women’s Studio Workshop, and Iowa Arts Council. Her paintings and works on paper are collected privately and can also be found in public and corporate collections including New York Foundation for the Arts, Stead Family Children’s Hospital (University of Iowa), Farm Bureau Financial Services, and Kirkwood Community College.
